Privacy

Your work and evidence stay on your device

Photos you add are read inside your browser to find their capture date and make a small thumbnail. The files are never uploaded. Your ledger, case files, evidence notes and file fingerprints are stored in your browser’s own storage on this device. Registry’s servers never receive them. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes them, so download a backup.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe receives your payment details and email; Registry receives only confirmation that a payment or membership is active, which it uses to sign the access key stored in your browser. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to what you give Stripe.

What our server keeps

Cloudflare, which runs Registry’s server, keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and reliability. Registry does not use advertising trackers and does not sell personal information.

Usage counts

To learn which pages help, Registry sends anonymous usage events to PostHog: the page path, events such as “checkout started” or “works added” with a count, and a random id kept in your browser. They never include titles, file names, evidence, case details, your name or your email. No cookies are set for this.
